This one is for all the Costa Mesans out there. You may have heard of eVocal next to hipster hangout bar, the Avalon, but they're moving on up- to The Camp that is. The Camp is actually getting a lot of new ventures going on over there so I suggest you go have a looksy today and support local artists at eVocal's new place.

Gotta love those elbow patches.

Looking for a unique, stylish, recycled handbag? Look no further. Los Angeles handbag designer, Kim White, creates handbags that are recycled from vintage materials- most notably, the ingenious use of vintage automotive upholstery. Each handbag comes with what make and model of auto the upholstery came from. I love classic cars (and purses, and vintage), so one of these bags are highly-placed on my want list.

There are so many styles to choose from, visit KimWhiteHandbags.com to take a look!

Are you a designer (art) toy collector? Expand your collection with some ceramic art objects. Art Mind has created these "feelings" - sculpted to embody different emotions. You can find them for sale at Art Mind's Etsy shop and vary in price around $40. These would make such unique, thoughtful gifts and there are so many to choose from.

Brendan Lott's MySpace-esque paintings (no, they aren't photos) represent our society's devoid, digitalized culture. The California artist derives titles for the paintings from pop songs and... the Bible.
